Objectives
To build positive relationships with managers by understanding each other’s communication styles and gain alignment on expectations and perspectives to deliver results.
Programme Description
Most people work well with their peers and subordinates. But if they have difficulty communicating with their managers, this often affects performance, motivation, or may even cause them to contemplate leaving the company.
This programme will help participants better engage and communicate with their managers on key areas, including:
- Issues and problems
- Ideas and specific requests
- Career matters
- Performance appraisals.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn how to understand their managers better, understand expectations and develop a plan on how they can work better with their managers. This programme will lead towards a better understanding of how both parties can synergise better as a team, where participants will also benefit when viewed as being more credible by their managers.
